In 1959, only 4341 Ambassador Custom Cross Country station wagons were manufactured. The Custom models featured the stylish lightning bolt side trim molding as well as two-tone paintwork and special badging. The interior mirrored the exterior with triple toned upholstery on the seats. This fabulous wagon is an example. It has not been restored, and we are the third owners. The first owner had it for about thirty years and put 82,000+ miles on it. The second owner had it for about thirty years, with most of that time having it in storage. It currently has 85,065 miles on it. We drive it, going to classic car events and afternoon drives. This station wagon is a nostalgic step back into a wonderful era. The color is Aqua Mist Metallic / Frost White. It's a good runner and well-maintained. The exterior is in good condition. The interior is original and needs to be restored.
