| SOLD 1962 Rambler American 400 convertible 13,000 original miles on it, (unbelievable but true). It’s got a 3 on the tree manual transmission, it runs and drives like a new car (in 1962). I love this little car but I do need to sell it to pay some bills. I got the opportunity to buy it from Mitt Romney a few years ago, (I do not know him, just purchased from his people). It is a beautiful rust/rot-free car from the south with an interesting history. It was used for a few years when it was new, then sat for 45 years in a garage in Florida until it was refurbished mechanically (rebuilt motor, trans, etc), purchased by Romney’s son in 2008, brought to New England and given to his dad for his birthday (Romney’s dad ran AMC). It was driven around his yard, but never on the street until I bought it a few years ago. I have been maintaining it and driving it regularly. Runs like a top. Located in MA. $17,000 firm.
