SOLD 1964 Rambler American 440 conv. Fun driver or great bones for a full restoration. 196 OHV six, 3sp column shift. Peppy and truly fun to drive. Runs well, shifts well, stops well. Has a newish electric windshield wiper motor, electric top motor works, all external lights work. Brand new tires and freshly rebuilt carburetor in spring ‘14. Has the optional mid-back bucket seats and center console. Probably a late-seventies, early-eighties restoration (has a 1982 Nebraska inspection sticker) and the paint job is the proverbial 20-footer. Some of the bright work was removed at that time - I expect intentionally. Was originally a black car with black interior. Has a spot of bondo in one fender. Top is okay, but a bit discolored. Needs stitching repaired on one side of rear window. She gets smiles, waves, & thumbs-up everywhere she goes. $5500. To return to the sales page click here. |
