1966 Rambler Wagon Thses pictures were
sent by AMCRC member Gino Musico of Austrslia. Gino writes "pics
of one of my very very rusty 770 Rambler wagons. It was a complete
going car and parked under a pine tree if I recall, it never moved
for over 10 years till I bought it and towed it to its current
resting place. The tailgates outer skin had rusted off the car and was
lieing on the ground covered over with weeds ! I almost didn’t find it,
but saw only part of the winder exposed and mearly thought it was just
the handle! The glovebox lid has even rusted off !"
Gino bought this wagon
for its running gear, 287, 4 barrel manifold, front disc brakes, these
will be eventually rebuilt and put into his 64 rambler
770 coupe, purchased with no motor. Gino believes the coupe
was one of eight brought into Australia with rhd in 1964, so its pretty
rare. The resotation will keep the wagon from being a total loss.
