Nashs,
Ramblers & AMCs For Sale

Though it costs us time & money, we offer the classified and web advertising as free services to those who are current with their club dues.  Advertising for non-members is possible for a slight fee.  These are the non-member options:

1) The first option is to run the car in our monthly classifieds (the Ad Release), which are delivered to all AMCRC members.  Ads run for 3 months, and the fee is only $10.

2) The second option is the first option PLUS, for another $10 ($20 total) we will run the car on the website, with up to 5 photos, for the same 3 months.  If the car is incomplete or not running, option 1 is your only choice.

Of course, the third option is for you to join our club and we can help you enjoy the car.  That's my favorite.

196 6 Rambler American
1966 Rambler American 440 4dr sedan.  199 cu. in. engine, factory a/c.  We have owned this car for nearly 40 years (and are the 2nd owners), as I purchased it for my wife to go to classes when we were married 39 years ago.   The car had been repainted professionally 30 years ago, so the paint is dull.  The engine was rebuilt and has probably 15-20k miles on it.  I have complete records on the car.  For the last 15 years, It hasn't been driven regularly, but it has been exercised regularly and kept in a humidity-controlled building.  It had been in a few "fender-bender" accidents, but these were repaired by replacing the damaged panels, not with body putty.  It did have one serious accident, and I had the damaged sections replaced with a "rear clip" from a parts car.  I am asking $2250.  AMCRC Member                                                                                       52

About 18 inches total.  Small holes in the outer skin of the driver door & right front fender.  Rockers seem solid the full length except for the hole on the driver side shown in the pictures.  The bad left rear quarter has a nice replacement ready to be put on.  All the trim seems to be here except for the Rebel emblems on the left front fender, the hubcaps, one front wheel well molding, and one trim piece next to headlights on driver side.  All the convertible top pieces are there -- trim, moldings, latches, cables and motor.  Everything moves up and down like it should.  All the lenses are in and complete.  $2500 obo.  Email for more info. 1970 AMC HORNET
1970 AMC HORNET.  This super clean and solid Hornet spent most of its life in a garage in Florida.  85,000 original miles. I purchased the car with the intentions of pulling the 6 cylinder out and dropping in a V8 but it’s just too nice to mess with.  The car had 1 repaint years ago, but still looks great.  No rust or bondo.  The interior is all white, and in perfect condition.  All of the chrome is nice and the tires are brand new.  I do not have the original wheels, but the rally wheels look way better.  The underneath is super solid and still has original paint on it.  I just put a new carburetor on, along with a full tune up.  Everything on dash works as it should.  I will help with transportation from my end, but at new owner’s expense.  $5400.                                                                              59

Very nice D/L interior and smooth running 258 cid six.  Passenger side doors and rear quarter resprayed many years ago, rest of the paint original.  Added in the last year are tires, shocks, water hoses, lower control arm, strut rod bushings and NOS wheel covers.  Trophy winner at 2008 AMCRC National in Tacoma.  Car drives wonderfully.  $6000 obo.   Astoria, OR.                                                                                      66

1978 Spirit AMX Sport Coupe, 1 of 2240 total built and 1 of only 1107 six cyl cars built. There might be 10 left.  This little runner has been completely rebuilt and can be driven anywhere. The body was solid, but was gone over to get out all dings and dents.  The left fender was replaced, it has new base / clear black paint, the interior has all new carpet, and the driver’s seat has been redone.  The brakes lines, rotors and pads, master cyl are all new - the car stops straight and true.  The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, and fuel lines redone.  Being a six cyl car, I wanted more power.  Because of the rarity of the car, I just upgraded it with a complete Clifford 6+8 AMC upgrade, including a dual plane 4bbl intake with a Holley 390 carb, dual headers, with custom dual exhaust. It sounds and runs great.  It has a 4sp with manual steering and brakes.  The car has new RWL radial tires & 4 Turbocast II AMC wheels.  The rear louvers are original, and I installed a Phoenix Graphics 79 AMX graphics kit.  It has all new door and hatch rubber and door bushings, so no door sag.   This is a great car needing very little detail work to be perfect. The windshield has some scratches, and it needs some minor detail items.  I received 5th place out of 60 cars at the AMC show in Springfield this past May.  I want it to go to a good AMC home.  Asking $6500 (12)                                                       68
1982 AMC Spirit DL
1982 AMC Spirit DL.  95,000 miles, white with blue interior, no missing parts.  I am the 2nd owner of this car and used it as my daily driver up until this summer when I bought an Eagle with 32,000 miles. The Spirit has many new parts in the last 8,000 miles including a new suspension front and rear (handles very tight and well), exhaust, water pump, several electronic parts under the hood, new head liner, NOS driver’s side remote mirror, tires, NOS AMC mud flaps, and Gremlin button hubcaps . Lousy paint job right before I bought it, but the pin stripes were done really well and the bumpers have been anodized.  What works: Everything, including the AC.   It is still fun to drive.  It would be a good candidate for an AMX conversion.  I have more than $11,000 invested in it over the last 3.5 years.  Asking $1,600.
