Nashs,
Ramblers & AMCs For Sale

Though it costs us time & money, we offer the classified and web advertising as free services to those who are current with their club dues.  Advertising for non-members is possible for a slight fee.  These are the non-member options:

1) The first option is to run the car in our monthly classifieds (the Ad Release), which are delivered to all AMCRC members.  Ads run for 3 months, and the fee is only $10.

2) The second option is the first option PLUS, for another $10 ($20 total) we will run the car on the website, with up to 5 photos, for the same 3 months.  If the car is incomplete or not running, however, option 1 may be your only choice.

Of course, the third option is for you to join our club and we can help you enjoy the car.  That's my favorite.

1962 Rambler American 400 convertible.  This car is in really good shape and it drives well. The body is completely rust-free, since it is a native CA car.  The 195.6 ci ohv engine was rebuilt soon after I bought it and it runs well.  It has had regular oil changes and I have all maintenance records.  The only issue recently revolved around the power steering. The hydraulic ram is leaking. The power steering could be removed, and the car would not be difficult to steer.  The paint is a soft powder yellow.  The interior was redone in a tufted off-white leather-like vinyl along with the convertible top. 1965 Rambler Classic 770 convertible.  This car is in excellent condition, and has the Twin-Stick option, which is the normal 3-speed on the floor plus the overdrive selector next to it.  I have owned it for 14 years.  The engine was rebuilt prior to the purchase and I have put approximately 9000 miles on it. The overdrive works and so does the convertible top motor.  A new interior was installed about 4 years ago and is in excellent condition.  There is no visible rust as it is kept in a climate controlled garage.  Some of the chrome has been redone and shines.  I would say this is the original top and is in good condition. The odometer reads 00885.3 which means it has rolled over but original mileage.  This has a six cylinder engine and gets great mileage and cruises down the highway at 65 with no problems.  The car is located in Western Michigan.  I am asking $8100, which includes several extra parts and books.  Contact AMCRC Member Tom.Mallory.b03p@Statefarm.com and I will forward the pictures I have.

1978 Spirit AMX Sport Coupe, 1 of 2240 total built and 1 of only 1107 six cyl cars built. There might be 10 left.  This little runner has been completely rebuilt and can be driven anywhere. The body was solid, but was gone over to get out all dings and dents.  The left fender was replaced, it has new base / clear black paint, the interior has all new carpet, and the driver’s seat has been redone.  The brakes lines, rotors and pads, master cyl are all new - the car stops straight and true.  The gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, and fuel lines redone.  Being a six cyl car, I wanted more power.  Because of the rarity of the car, I just upgraded it with a complete Clifford 6+8 AMC upgrade, including a dual plane 4bbl intake with a Holley 390 carb, dual headers, with custom dual exhaust. It sounds and runs great.  It has a 4sp with manual steering and brakes.  The car has new RWL radial tires & 4 Turbocast II AMC wheels.  The rear louvers are original, and I installed a Phoenix Graphics 79 AMX graphics kit.  It has all new door and hatch rubber and door bushings, so no door sag.   This is a great car needing very little detail work to be perfect. The windshield has some scratches, and it needs some minor detail items.  I received 5th place out of 60 cars at the AMC show in Springfield this past May.  I want it to go to a good AMC home.  Asking $6500 (12)
